About Colia

Small on purpose, and a real home.

Wilson's Childcare is Colia Wilson's home in Fishers, near Hamilton Southeastern High School. It is not a center, and it is not a classroom with a bell.

Colia Wilson.
Colia Wilson, owner

Hi, I'm Colia

I'm a military wife, and I've made this house a home for Fishers kids since 2015.

Wilson's Childcare is my home. It's a child care home in Fishers, Indiana, near Hamilton Southeastern High School, and I've cared for a small group of local children here for 11 years.

We're a military family, and military life teaches you two things fast: how to make a house feel like home, and how to show up for the people around you every single day. That's how I run my days. Steady routines, a calm house, and the same familiar face at the door every morning. The person you talk to is the person who spends the day with your child, because that person is me.

I talk through rates and openings in person, so the best way to get to know me is to come see the house.

The playroom: a zebra-print rug, a small blue table with red chairs, shelves of toys, and a Welcome board on the wall.

  • Since 2015

11 years of caring for Fishers kids in this house.

  • A real house

A living room instead of a lobby. Kids settle in fast because it feels like a place they already know.

  • The same face every day

A small group and one familiar caregiver. The person you talk to is the person who spends the day with your child.

Babies keep their own rhythm

Bottles, naps, tummy time, and a lot of holding. Colia follows your baby's schedule, not a clock.

  • Feeding and naps on your baby's schedule
  • Tummy time, songs, and floor play
  • A clean, quiet place to sleep
  • Plenty of cuddles

Every day here

What a day is made of.

The same six things, every day, in a house that's set up for kids.

  • Safe, loving, and nurturing

A small group, a familiar caregiver, and a home that's arranged for little ones. Safety first, warmth always.

  • Learning through play

Kids learn most when they're playing, so the day is built around it: blocks, pretend, puzzles, and outside time.

  • Arts, crafts, and preschool curriculum

Paint, glue, and glitter for everyone, plus letters, numbers, and colors for the preschoolers.

  • Park and play time

Fresh air and room to run. Park and play time is part of the routine, not a treat.

  • Dancing and singing

Music every day. Nobody sits still for long, and that's the point.

  • Healthy meals and snacks

Real meals and snacks through the day, made at home.

Come see the house.
